WE’RE FOLLOWING ARTISAN LAB
SPRAWLED OVER AN AREA OF 3000 SQ FT. at the N-block of the GK1 Market in Delhi, stands Artisan Lab, a concept store, a café and a creative laboratory, infusing a breath of fresh air into accent furniture, table linen, mango wood serve ware, barware, hand crafted leather accessories, foliage lighting and terrariums.
THE STORE IS DESIGNED BY Project 810 and is spread over two floors. The first floor houses the concept store and on the second sits the café. We were impressed to see beautifully designed architectural elements splashed across the store, such as geometrical doorway arches, bold display fixtures, and glass-bricked walls that diffuse the light.
THE PIECES ARE MINDFULLY hand-picked, sourced both locally and from abroad. The focus is on simple products that are design oriented and in which the artisans craft is vividly evident. In addition to the wider product line, the brand features its own exclusive in-house assortment of home linen, dining and serve ware, as well as décor items. The Artisan Lab café is a seamless extension of the store. The café uses organic vegetables and fruits, home grown herbs, and A2 grade lactose-free milk.
